MEET THE FAMILY

Hillhead Farm is set in the most rural and beautiful surroundings in Torrance, North of Glasgow, just a twenty-minute drive from the city centre. It is a family run farm that has been loved and cared for by the Imrie family for four generations. We are extremely proud of our heritage and the beautiful environment that the generations before us worked so hard to preserve. We strive to continue to nurture and develop our farm with the same dedication for future generations to come.   

In August 2021, our daughter Jessica and partner James announced their engagement, wishing to have their wedding on the farm. As a family, we decided to diversify our farm and create a truly unique venue. We enjoyed every moment of creating the most beautiful and picturesque wedding - completely bespoke to their vision and unique to them. The successful organisation, preparation, and delivery of this wedding inspired the purchase of our own incredible Baya Dome and led to the creation and development of Hillhead Events. Two years and a wedding later, we are delighted to invite guests to our venue. 

Hillhead Events is a big diversification project for our family farm. Together, we have realised our dream of sharing this incredibly exclusive spot, which sits nestled on the hill at Blairskaith. With sensitively landscaped gardens, and unparalleled views of unspoilt countryside and Greater Glasgow, Hillhead provides a one-of-a-kind, assuredly breathtaking, private space for you to make your own.
